Michael Almeida

Michael is an Articling Student at LD Law LLP and is to be called to the Bar in June 2026, marking an important milestone in his legal career. Following his call to the Bar he will be joining LD Law as an Associate.

Before joining the firm, Michael, articled with a sole practitioner, where he gained valuable experience in family law, wills and estates, litigation, and corporate matters.
At LD Law LLP, Michael assists the firm in a broad range of matters, including family law, estate planning and administration, litigation, and corporate matters.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Justice Studies from the University of Guelph and a Diploma in Police Foundations from Humber College. He later attended the University of Southampton, a member of the prestigious Russell Group universities, where he earned his LL.B.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys watching sports, playing soccer, and spending time with loved ones.
